☆Road Trip★

Hi y'all!! i went to Road Trip from Dec 9th to Dec 19th with other int'l students here in DU. we rented 3 cars. we left in the morning of 9th and at first, we went to Bryce Canyon in Utah. since it took about 7 hours to get there from Denver, we didn't have time to look around Bryce Canyon on that day. we woke up in the very early morning to watch sunrise. these pictures were taken at that time.

Next, we went to Grand Canyon. we drove for about 5 hours to get there. i expected Grand Canyon to be more breathtaking, but for me, Bryce Canyon was more speechless!! but still, Grand Canyon was beautiful and the scale of it was amazing!!!!!

On the way to Las Vegas, we visited the Crater which called "Meteor Crater". this crater is one of the vest crater which is preserved really well. these are the members we went to the Road Trip together with.

After that, we visited Las Vegas!!!!!!!!! we arrived at night and we walked around the street which is called "Strip". Strip is the main street. since we visited nature places, the city "Las Vegas" was very fresh to me!! all the illuminations were amazingly beautiful and the city was bright and loud( i mean in a good way)!!! picture in the middle is Bellagio!!!!!!!

At last, we went to San Francisco!!! honestly, the weather there was CRAP!!! it was horrible!!! it was a loooooooong drive to get there. it was like 10 hours from Las Vegas, so we stayed somewhere between Las Vegas and San Fran ( i don't know where we stayed...hehe) we arrived at night again in San Fran, so we didn't do much that day. but the next day, the weather was ok. i expected San Fran to be warmer, BUT it was really cold... anyway, we visited Alcatraz island which was prison before. it was called a perfect prison!!! the photo of this island is just above. Next day again, the weather turned out to be really bad... it was raining!!!!!!! so we couldn't watch Golden Gate Bridge beautifully as it is in postcards... :-( it was freezing that day... the best pic of Golden Gate Bridge i took is the one i posted above Alcatraz photo.

As a whole, i really enjoyed this Road Trip!! it was really good to visit other parts of America while i'm here. and it was awesome to meet these friends here in DU ;) some of the int'l students have left and are leaving DU... it's really sad... but i hope to meet them in the future!! and i believe that i can meet them one day♪

Disney World in Florida!!!

Hi y'all!!!!! i went to Disney World in Orlando, Florida with another Kansaigaidai student in DU as one of the travel in this loooong winter break!!!

it was so much fun and warmer!!!!!!!! Disney World was way bigger than i expected!!!!! it was HUGE ;=) there is about 6 or 7 different theme parks and we went these theme parks by shuttle bus which was provided by Disney World and this shuttle bus ran from each resorts in Disney World!!

we met almost all of main characters there!! and took photos!! i posted some of them above!!

Hospitality in Disney World was AWESOME too!! since i've come to US to study Hospitality, it was great to experience good services in Hospitality industry!!! Cast members there were always smily and greet with us when the eyes met, and also when we were struggling how to go to a particular place by looking at the map, they came to us and asked us whether they can help us or not!!!!!

i had really great time in Disney World!! if you have a chance to go, you should definitely go there!! i'm sure that each of you will have tons of fun in each of your different ways☆★

This is my school DU!!!!!

this is Ritchie Center. in here, there's a ice-skate rink, swimming pool, gym, bascketball court etc... i went there once to go ice-skating!! we can do activities freely if we are students in DU.

this is Sturm Hall. this is a main building which classes are held.

this is Daniels College of Business. since DU is famous for business college, a lot of students are majoring in business.

i don't know what that actually is. but i go here during the day on weekends to sit and rest with my friends like picnic!!

people play frisbee, soccer or american football etc... in the evening or during breaks in this field and also people play with dogs in here. i don't actually know what that building contains...

the houses you can see in this photo is flats. some students live here. each flat has specific people who are related to some particular group i don't know.

hey all!! what's up? i finally post pictures of University of Denver ;=) i think buildings and facilities in DU are really nice. i like the red brick and green together with blue sky!!!!!!!!! i think university in japan shuld have green like that too!!!!!

i have classes from Monday to Thursday!! and from Thursday night, there's party party party :-) i love that life style!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i'm sure that i'm gonna miss it when i get back to japan..... and this week's thursday is gonna be the last party thursday for this autumn quarter because in 2 weeks, this quarter's gonna be over and a looooooooong break's gonna start, so i'm definitely gonna go crazy on thursday this week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hehehe

Happy Halloween!!!!!!!

hey everyone!! how are you guys doing?
yesterdat was happy halloween!!! so we had a party which is hosted by University of Denver ;) this weekend was also called halloween weekend and there were parties everyday during that weekend!!! i also went to a party on thursday and drank a lot :=) hehe
this picture is me and ayumi who come to DU with me as an exchange student from Kansaigaidai!! we get along pretty well♪ i became a cowgirl, and she became a school girl☆★

this picture was taken in my room. the lower bed is mine and above is my roommate's. the dorm i live is not new, and kind of old so it's not nice as aya's and masako's room. BUT i like here!! we have our own kitchen and bathroom and i like students who live in the same floor as me ;=)
and actually i love living in a dorm so far!! because i thought at first that i can make friends in classes i take, BUT it turns out to be totally different!!!!! i've made more and more friends in dorm rather than in classes. so i go up and down the dorm with elevator to hang out with them!!! it's so much fun ;=)

SNOW!!

hey!! yesterday, Denver had snow!!!!! it was soooooooooo cold!! freezing!! everything was white!! but today, it's sunny and no snow!!! how difficult to adjust the weather in Denver is!!!

we had a fire alarm happend at 3 pm and everybody had to go to chilly snowy windy outside!! that was totally HELL!!!!!! that was the 4th fire alarm we had in our dorm and that's terrible!! we are sophomore and we should not have them!!!! i can guess that freshman dorm near our dorm have less fire alarm than us though freshman tend to have more fire alarm things because they are being crazy to live and have fun in dorm!!! that's exactly what i heard too but this turned out to be upside down...
anyway, it's definitely getting colder and i don't know i can survive... :=(

My Sweet Roommate!!

hey!! how's everybody doing? This is my roommate Courtney!!!!!! she is really really nice girl!!! she showed interests on me and japanese things, and try to have conversation and be with me ;) today, she cooked dinner for us!! i took this picture in kitchen!! we share kitchen and bathroom with other two girls (we call them suitemates)!! the dinner was awesome!! it was sooooooooooo delicious!!!
i normally cook dinner with my suitemate rather than go to Cafeteria, because it's much helthier!!! and someday, i'll cook dinner for Courtney :=)
she has a car, so she took me to the grocery shopping and to the class room too ;) she said she'll happy to invite us to her famikly's resort house in Utah during winter break, so we'll go skiing together!!! i'm so exctited about it!!!

Rocky Mountain!!!!!

i went to Rocky Mountain with other international students on weekends!! it wasn't a trip which DU planed for us; we planed by ourselves and rented 2 cars and went there!!! it was awesome ;) most of them in this picture lives in the same floor of the dorm and we spend time together a lot!!! Rocky Mountain is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it was totally unbelievable!!!!!!!!! it had snow even though it's summer now *□* we hiked a little bit and drank water from the river and played in the river etc...... i can't say any other words rather than FUN!! i'll post pics of our trip below!!!
